Take a digital marketing course. Udacity has a bunch of awesome courses and some are even free! There is so much to learn in digital marketing space that's not present with plain sales for example SEO and SEM.

I suggest that you take some courses to backup your digital marketing portfolio. Udacity has a nice course on Digital Marketing. Although I didn't come from sales, I started as a copywriter before digital marketing.
