A 31-lecture video series by Richard Hamming, recorded late in his career at the Naval Postgraduate School, on how he approached learning and research across mathematics, computing, physics and technology, illustrated through his own life. Commenters note it also serves as a summary of his career.
Commenters call it an awesome 31-part course and describe it as a wonderful companion to Hamming's talk "You and Your Research".

Or watch Hamming giving the Learning to Learn lectures in person! Awesome course in 31 parts:

It's also a summary of his career, explaining the basics and interesting parts of the various topics he's delved into, and how he thought about them.
This reads a lot like Hamming's talk You and Your Research applied to programming. It's the last lecture in a wonderful 31-lecture course, about maths, computers, physics, technology, illustrated through Hamming's life.
He'd spend his lunch hours chatting with people at Bell Labs, asking them if they were working on the most important problems in their field, and if not, why not?!
