Understanding the Weird Parts
Udemy

A Udemy course by Anthony Alicea (Anthony Alicea / "Will Sentance" is not involved) that digs into how JavaScript actually works under the hood, covering execution context, scope, the call stack, and prototypes. It is aimed at developers who already know basic JavaScript and want a deeper understanding of its quirks.
Commenters call it a fantastic course for getting better at JavaScript before moving on to frameworks like React, and a good follow-up to reading a JavaScript book.

I plan to stick to a JS stack (MEAN, MERN or MEVN, don't know how mysql fits with these) so right now I'm focusing on becoming better at javascript, hence "understanding the weird parts" course, it really is a Fantastic course. I'm also going to start reading YDKJS book. The goal is to get as good…
I read this book and worked through it. It was a good jumping point. Like the guy below says though I felt "you don't know JS" was a lot better. I would also recommend the "understanding the weird parts" udemy course, it was a good course to continue on with.
