An interactive introductory course from Code School that teaches the basics of Objective-C, the language used for early iOS and macOS development. It is a short, browser-based lesson series aimed at getting a feel for the language.

Commenters point to it as a low-pressure way to see whether Objective-C is worth learning, and as a gentle lead-in before a fuller Objective-C course.

In addition to his advice also check out this Swift guide as well as the iOS 8 course on iTunes U (videos are on YouTube as well if you don't use iTunes) which is taught by a professor at Stanford. As for Objective-C, check out [this] (http://tryobjectivec.codeschool.com/) tutorial and it should…

I learned objective-c on Udemy & RayWenderlich.com, do you have money to spend on courses or are you trying to do this for free? I'll send you links to paid or free courses depending on your response. There's also a website to learn objective-c interactively here…

Personally I'd say if you wanted to learn basic Objective C (as more of a "do I like this language?") Code School has a free course in "Try Objective-C", otherwise Apple's own "The Swift Programming Language" straight off of iTunes/iBooks is a great pick up. Otherwise Codecademy is a good starting…

There are two places I like. One is https://www.codeschool.com/courses/try-objective-c which is a comprehensive course. If you're more into videos and visual learning then I suggest https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL640F44F1C97BA581 which is a 60+ video course by TheNewBoston, and he really…

You're right, I need to learn something and have fun doing it. I tend to second guess my self way to much. I am going to use codeschools try ObjC and Treehouse's iOS course(since I have a subscription already) and then follow Stanfords iOS class on iTunesU.
