A two-volume set of lecture notes from the Princeton special year on quantum fields and strings, written for mathematicians. It covers the mathematical foundations of quantum field theory and string theory that are otherwise scattered through the research literature.
One commenter calls it a fantastic two-volume collection and says it is the best attempt they know to present the mathematics of these topics in one place.

The unfortunate truth is that even among good theoretical physicists there are few who would be able to teach such a course. The main reason is that a mathematical description of some of these things is still scattered in the research literature. The best attempt that I am aware of is the special year at Princeton in the 90s it produces a fantastic two volume collection of lectures “quantum fields and strings: a course for mathematicians”. Weinberg’s three part book on QFT is also pretty nice.
