Macroeconomic Policy in a World Economy
Stanford University
1 recommender · 1 thread · recommended in 1 year, 2009 · score 1.0
A Stanford course on macroeconomic policy in an open, interconnected world economy, covering how central banks and governments model and make monetary and fiscal policy decisions. It is taught by John Taylor and is hosted on his Stanford web page.
The one commenter calls it the best of their economics courses and says it covers the modeling and process central banks like the Federal Reserve and Bank of Canada use.

I took quite a few economics courses in university - and all of the textbooks were poor.
The best course was on monetary policy, basically the type of modeling and process the Federal Reserve or the Bank of Canada go through.
