I'm at 76% of this course, buy it. I'm currently making several websites and making my own portfolio, and most of my knowledge came from this course.. I suggest this one and 'JavaScript Understanding the Weird Parts' by Anthony Alicea. With Colt's course you'll get enough knowledge to do your own…

With no proof of concept (no prototype, users, feedback) its going to be very hard to land an investment. I recommend you invest some time ~20-30 hours and take a udemy iOS Swift course, there are numerous courses that teach you how to build apps like instagram, snapchat, and more.

I really enjoyed tim buchalka's java course on udemy. As for javascript definitely get a base for it then check out anthony alicea's "understanding the weird parts: Javascript"
