A Stanford University lecture course on Hannibal Barca, the Carthaginian general who fought Rome in the Second Punic War, including his Alpine crossing. Commenters say it is no longer available through its original iTunesU host and was once downloadable as lectures.
Commenters describe the downloadable Stanford lecture on Hannibal as great, and note that the lecturer took part in a student expedition across the Alps with a real elephant.

Theres a downloadable Stanford lecture on Hannibal, wich is great; the archeologist guy who gives the talk was involved in a student expedition across the Alps, with a real elephant!
The Stanford iTunesU classes have been truncated to a few seconds. So Susanna Braund's Aeneid course (which was brilliant) is gone. Same thing with their Hannibal course. I don't know that they're available elsewhere. Apple dropped iTunesU (2021?) and Stanford didn't have a backup.
