A free short course from DeepLearning.AI, taught by Andrew Ng with OpenAI, on writing effective prompts and using the ChatGPT API to build applications. It runs as hands-on notebooks in the browser.
Commenters recommend it as a quick, practical entry point for building LLM-based apps, and note it is approachable even with only basic Python skills.

I have taken Andrew Ng's courses on DeepLearning.AI and I highly recommend them if you are interested in quickly building LLM-based apps.
I suggest taking them in the following order:
Note: although I only have basic Python skills, I am still able to follow these courses
If you want to learn about ML-coding, deeplearning.ai has excellent free "short courses."
If you want to learn about to code data structures and algorithms, aka "DSA," leetcode.com is your friend. Until you actually schedule a big-tech interview, the free version is more than enough.
There’s some really good info along thff we same lines in this course https://learn.deeplearning.ai/chatgpt-prompt-eng
Curiously, they already have something like that already. If you take a course on deeplearning.ai (I tried ChatGPT Prompt Engineering for Developers), you can run a notebook that accesses OpenAI API. If you look closely, you'll notice they authenticate not with an API key but with a temporary JWT token that gets handed to you when you start a lesson. I don't know how they do it, but it's certaily possible.
