I'm also self teaching so can't help too much but if you see this can I ask would you recommend CS50x to learn C (like C's memory management low level stuff)? Or what else did you use like books etc? I'm trying Stanfords Programming Paradigms CS107 course online and finding the C learning curve…
From my personal actual learning, it's all Algo I and II from Princeton. From a what's the best .... CS50 almost for sure is the best I've taken. The best "meta" course is 100% the Odin Project.
If you want to do this properly without shortcuts I would recommend sticking to university lectures. Courses on udemy etc are not going to be comprehensive. They are a decent option if you have just a month to prep for an interview and you want to cram without getting a deeper understanding but if…
you can go through coursera algorithms course its free of charge and its one of the best courses there. You can also try doing cracking the code interview or the algorithm design manual book by skiena. Also, there is mit ocw course on algorithms but i find that too detailed.

You seem like a very sensible person and I really support your determination and views. I like that you can be rebellious and understanding and loving towards your parents at the same time. Python is a great place to start, but in my opinion C++ doesn't have to be a good place to transition. The…
Most times people feel like this because they’re doing multiple tutorials at once. Usually these tutorials only cover specific areas. Because of this you’re learning little islands of information that aren’t connected, which causes confusion and then despair lol. The best thing to do is pick one…
